ABOUT US
SMT Bulk Transload’s facility located in Bloomingdale, GA was developed in 2023 to create a versatile rail and transloading facility. Conveniently located to I-16, I-95 and the Savannah Port, SMT is able to transfer bulk, oversized/overweight, and non-standard commodities via rail, truck, and sea in the most cost-effective and timely manner.
We are serviced by both of the Southeast Class 1 rail lines – Norfolk Southern and CSX – with daily switches, 58 car capacity, and 3 rail spurs to provide consistent and efficient rail loading. Rail and bulk transloading is just a portion of our portfolio of services including import and export cargo loading, intermodal drayage, loaded container handlers, state-of-the-art logistics and inventory tracking, maintenance, fabrication, and dump trailers for local aggregate distribution.

Martin Marietta distributes aggregates through SMT from quarries located near Macon, GA. stockpiling 20,000 tons of aggregates, with inventory arriving daily. With on-site DOT testing we are able to accommodate nearly any need.
Through our Partnership with Martin Marietta, we stock a variety of aggregates on-site to meet your construction and grading needs. No matter the size of your job, we can not only provide you with the materials you need but also provide delivery to ensure you get what you need, when you need it.
